Liam Rigney

LIAM SAYS, “WASSUP”…

Liam has been playing the drums for ten years and will continue to do so for the rest of his life. There’s nothing Liam loves more than playing the drums and performing with his boys. Liam got a DM from Beck in the eighth grade about creating a band and the rest is history. Liam’s basement has been the space where the band practices and hangs out.

OTHER FUN FACTS ABOUT LIAM

When Liam is offstage, he is the Varsity Captain of the Cross Country Winter Track Team and the Clarkstown Rowing Crew Team. Liam enjoys being a leader on and off the field (and stage), hoping to inspire those around him to be the best version of themselves.

Ten year old Liam used to watch videos of Neil Peart in awe. Growing up, Liam would play along to Rush songs in his basement, hoping one day he could play like Neil. Liam has been inspired by the great John Bonham and Steward Copeland. Today, Liam can be fund listening to Porcupine Tree as he tries to create fills that one up Gavin Harrison (clearly, Liam in joking)!

WHAT COMES NEXT?

Liam is off to college to pursue Educational or Environmental Law and is excited for whatever life has to throw at him.
